7 Best Cheap Eats on the Las Vegas Strip Under $15 (2026 Guide)
It is a common misconception that you have to spend $100 for a decent meal on the Las Vegas Strip. While it is true that celebrity chef restaurants will drain your wallet, there are still incredible, highly-rated meals to be found if you know exactly where to look.
Here is our local’s guide to the 7 best completely satisfying meals you can get for under $15 on the Strip in 2026.
1. The Secret $9.99 Steak at Ellis Island
This is the holy grail of Las Vegas cheap eats. Just one block off the Strip (behind Horseshoe), the Village Pub & Cafe inside Ellis Island Casino offers a legendary steak special.
The Catch: You will not find this on the menu. You must sign up for a free Passport Players Club card, play a minimum of $5 on the machines to print a voucher, and explicitly ask your server for the off-menu $9.99 steak special. It comes with a 10 oz. top sirloin, potatoes, green beans, and a salad or soup. (Tip: To learn how to navigate off the Strip to find these deals, check out our Las Vegas Transportation Guide).
2. Authentic Street Tacos at Tacos El Gordo
Located on the North Strip near Resorts World, this is widely considered the most authentic Tijuana-style taqueria in Las Vegas.
You order directly from the meat stations (do not miss the Al Pastor, carved straight off the spit). With tacos priced starting around $4.12 each, you can easily load up a tray of three tacos and a drink for well under $15. The lines can be long, but it moves incredibly fast.
3. Earl of Sandwich (Planet Hollywood)
A staple for budget travelers, Earl of Sandwich is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops and is open 24/7.
Their signature hot, toasted sandwiches—like the Original 1762 (roast beef, cheddar, and horseradish) or the Full Montagu—are generally priced around $11.00. It is high quality, incredibly filling, and arguably the best quick-bite value in the center of the Strip.
4. Secret Pizza (The Cosmopolitan)
The Cosmopolitan is known for high-end luxury, but hidden down an unmarked hallway lined with vinyl records on the third floor is “Secret Pizza.”
They serve massive, authentic New York-style slices. A single slice of cheese will cost you $7.00, and a 1-topping slice (like pepperoni) is $8.50. Two massive cheese slices make a full meal that perfectly slides under our $15 budget.
5. In-N-Out Burger (The LINQ Promenade)
You cannot make a cheap eats list without mentioning this West Coast icon. Located right in the middle of the LINQ Promenade, this is a lifesaver for budget travelers.
You can get a legendary Double-Double, an order of fresh-cut fries, and a drink for right around $10.00.
6. Dirt Dog (Horseshoe Las Vegas)
If you want something massive and completely unique, head to the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of the Horseshoe and look for Dirt Dog.
They serve Los Angeles street food, specializing in giant, bacon-wrapped hot dogs. All of their “Dawgs” are bacon-wrapped, and you can get the classic House Dog for exactly $9.25, or the loaded Chili Dog and Elote Dog for $11.95. It is messy, delicious, and extremely filling.
7. The Food Court Reality Check
If you are traveling with a family and need to feed multiple people under $15 each day, your best bet is to embrace the resort food courts.
Properties like Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay have massive food courts featuring staples like Subway, Nathan’s Famous, and Johnny Rockets. While it might not be a “foodie” experience, it is reliable and fits the budget.
