Best Late Night Cheap Eats in Las Vegas: 2026 Guide

Published on

Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps, but if you’re wandering around the Strip at 2:00 AM, you might be shocked to find that your food options are surprisingly limited. Many of the famous buffets (even the top spots on our Ultimate Las Vegas Buffet Ranking) and celebrity chef restaurants shut down by 10:00 PM.

If you’ve just left the club, finished a marathon gambling session, or are simply jet-lagged and hungry, you need food that is open late, incredibly delicious, and won’t break the bank. (If you need budget food during the day, check out our guide to the Best Meals Under $10 on the Strip!)

We’ve completely overhauled our late-night dining map for 2026. Here is the ultimate guide to the best late-night cheap eats in Las Vegas.

1. Tacos El Gordo (The Strip)

When it comes to authentic, cheap late-night food on the Las Vegas Strip, the conversation always begins with Tacos El Gordo.

This Tijuana-style taco shop is a legendary staple for late-night crowds. While the line often wraps around the building past midnight, it moves incredibly fast. They have different lines for different types of meats—do not make the rookie mistake of standing in the wrong line!

  • The Vibe: Energetic, loud, and incredibly authentic. It feels like a genuine Mexican street food experience right on the Strip.
  • What to Get: The Adobada (spicy pork) tacos are life-changing. Freshly shaved off a trompo right in front of you, they are served on fresh corn tortillas with a dollop of creamy green sauce.
  • The Price: Tacos are incredibly affordable, generally costing $4.12 (for meats like Asada and Adobada) and up to $4.44 for specialty meats like Lengua (beef tongue).

2. Evel Pie (Downtown / Fremont East)

If you find yourself in Downtown Las Vegas (Fremont East) craving something greasy and delicious after midnight, head straight to Evel Pie.

Named after the legendary daredevil Evel Knievel, this 1970s heavy-metal-themed pizza shop offers a fantastic retro, gritty Vegas atmosphere. The walls are lined with vintage memorabilia, pinball machines, and cheap beer.

  • The Vibe: A loud, punk-rock dive bar that happens to serve incredible New York-style pizza.
  • What to Get: Grab a massive slice of the “Cheesy Rider” or the “Goblin Sausage.”
  • The Price: Slices are huge and cost between $5.75 (for the Cheesy Rider) and $7 (for specialty slices like the Goblin Sausage). For the ultimate bargain, grab their $8 slice combo which includes a cheese slice and an Evel Ale!

3. Secret Pizza (The Cosmopolitan)

You can’t have a late-night food list without pizza. Hidden down an unmarked, record-lined hallway on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan is the aptly named Secret Pizza.

There is no sign, and it’s easy to walk right past it. But if you follow the smell of garlic and baking dough, you’ll find a tiny, standing-room-only slice shop that serves some of the best New York-style pizza on the West Coast.

  • The Vibe: Speakeasy pizza joint with a cool, retro-grunge aesthetic.
  • What to Get: A slice of the White Pizza (ricotta and garlic) or the classic pepperoni.
  • Hours: They are open until 4:00 AM, making this the ultimate post-clubbing destination.

4. Market Street Cafe (Downtown / The California)

Located inside The California Hotel (often referred to as the “Hawaiian Hotel of Las Vegas”), Market Street Cafe is an absolute hidden gem for casual comfort food.

They serve incredible Hawaiian staples like Hamburger Steak (a Loco Moco without the egg) slathered in gravy and served with traditional mac salad, and warming bowls of Saimin (Wonton Min) noodles.

WARNING

The Oxtail Soup Rules: Their most famous dish is the legendary Oxtail Soup. However, it is only served during their late-night graveyard shift (11:00 PM to 6:00 AM). The line for this soup starts forming at 10:30 PM, so get there early!

5. Nacho Daddy (The Strip)

Located right in Harmon Square near Planet Hollywood, Nacho Daddy is an incredibly fun, high-energy spot that stays open until 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM (depending on the day of the week).

They make everything fresh daily—nothing comes out of a bag. It’s technically Mexican-American food, and their portions are absolutely massive, making it perfect for sharing with a group after a night out.

  • What to Get: The Enchilada Nachos (smothered in chicken breast and red or green enchilada sauce) or the Buffalo Hot Nachos.
  • Feeling Brave? They are famous for their “Scorpion Shot,” which features an actual, crunchy scorpion at the bottom of the glass!

Honorable Mentions: Late-Night Quick Bites

If you just need to grab something fast and cheap, here are a few other excellent late-night options that never disappoint:

  • American Coney Island (Downtown / The D Hotel): Open 24/7, this is the spot to grab a legendary Detroit-style Coney Dog (with chili, mustard, and onions) for just $5.05. If you’re extra hungry, upgrade to the “American Special” or grab some $6.80 Chili Cheese Fries to soak up the alcohol!
  • Coronado Cafe (South Point Hotel): Open 24/7, this is one of the most famous off-strip spots for late-night eaters (for more on this fantastic resort, check out our full South Point Hotel Guide). Between midnight and 6 AM, they offer legendary “Graveyard Specials” like a $2.95 shrimp cocktail and a full 7oz N.Y. Steak and Eggs meal for only $6.95!
